What is Stem Racing ?
STEM Racing, formerly known as F1 in Schools, is a competitive program in which students, aged 9-19, design, manufacture, and race foam cars powerd by CO₂ cartidges.
Endorsed by Formula 1, this competition teaches real-world skills to youth intersted in persuing related industries.
Winning isn’t only dependent on the speed of the cars, but it also requires teams to have proper presentations of their engineering and business processes. The key to a successful team is teamwork. As students are given certain requirements and deadlines to follow, members are must cooperate and work with one another in completing tasks.
These aspects all work together to create one of the most complete STEM experiences available to high school students.
